- 3 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 &1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 &1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- Using a bowl or jar mix all of the spices until completely combined.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place.
This is a tasty combination for chicken or seafood. It makes enough to rub into 1 pound of protein. Apply the rub and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. For a quick entree, melt 1/4 cup butter in a skillet over medium heat, then sear the seasoned chicken or seafood until golden brown on both sides.
