- 2 small-sized gala apples, peeled, cored, chopped
- 1 date, roughly chopped
- 1 orange, juiced
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Pulse all ingredients into puree; pour on dehydrator solid fruit roll sheets.
- Set on dehydrator trays and dry at 135°F for 4 - 8 hours, or until it becomes leathery. (Set heat below 110°F to keep it "raw").
- When desired texture is achieved, remove from the sheets while warm. Allow to cool and store in a freezer or a dark, dry and cool place.
