This stainless steel mesh tray is made from 304 Commercial Food-Grade Stainless Steel material. This 20" x 33.5" tray fits our 28 Tray digital model (28CUD). This tray option is the most popular and is able to dehydrate a range of foods from jerky to pet treats, fruits, vegetables and more. This tray allows adequate airflow access to all sides of the product to ensure an even and consistent dry every time. All our dehydrator trays are dishwasher safe for your convenience.
Convective heat transfer, often referred to simply as convection, is the transfer of heat from one place to another by the movement of gases or fluid. Although often discussed as a distinct method of heat transfer, convective heat transfer involves the combined processes of unknown conduction (heat diffusion) and advection (heat transfer by bulk air flow).
ENERGY SAVING PATENTED TECHNOLOGY
Using our patented Power-Throttling Technology, these units will not use their full power rating. Instead, they will adjust according to the temperature set for the chamber. Energy efficiency is increased from a traditional drying oven due to this patented design, becoming 35~45% more efficient.
Our hot air circulation system adopts a uniform and efficient airflow throughout the unit. The wind source is driven by the circulating blower, which forces the air through the heating coils, where it is then taken into the oven’s inner chamber. The used moist air is then sucked back into the air duct to be expelled and the hot air recirculated.

Analogue controls offer a simple push button operation, easy for anyone to use. Temperature controls are still shown and programmed on a digital display to ensure accuracy of operation. Our exhaust valve allows you to throttle the amount of air that is recirculated back into the chamber from the previous cycle.
We produce industrial-grade stainless steel heating coils. Extremely robust, these heating coils are wrapped in fins positioned along the entire length of the coil itself. These fins help to radiate the heat into the passing air, making them much more efficient than standard heating elements.
AIR DISTRIBUTION Panel Technology
Our units are fitted with dynamic airflow panels which have been lasered for precision. These panels create back pressure from the heating chamber and redistribute the hot dry air consistently across every tray giving you even drying throughout the chamber.
Product warranty applies to the ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER of this product, if it is purchased through COMMERCIAL DEHYDRATORS AMERICA or an authorized retailer, and operated in accordance with the supplied instruction, then for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase the product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship.
To obtain warranty service, an original or copy of the invoice from the original authorized retailer is required. THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD RETAIN YOUR INVOICE.
