Dehydrated Recipes

Marinated Jerky | Commercial Dehydrators

This lightly seasoned jerky is a great introduction to dehydrated meats. This recipe calls for the meat to be brined, which means the meat is soaked in a salt/sugar solution to tenderize it prior to cooking or dehydrating. It is preferable to freeze the meat before slicing.

Tuna and Apricot Salad | Commercial Dehydrators

Yes, you can dehydrate canned tuna! You can switch out the apricots for another dehydrated fruit, chopped onions or celery, or even chopped dehydrated bread-and-butter pickles. Do not try to dehydrate oil-packed tuna (or salmon, for that matter). Only water-packed will work.
