- 6 cups dehydrated sliced potatoes
- 6 cups boiling water
- 1 cup cubed ham (optional)
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dehydrated sliced onions or scallions
- In a large heatproof bowl, combine the dehydrated potatoes and boiling water, cover, and let sit for 20 minutes to rehydrate; don't drain off any remaining water.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Arrange the potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the ham over the potatoes, if using.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the milk, flour, and dehydrated onions together, then pour over the potatoes. Cover and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake until golden brown on top, about another 15 minutes.
