- 2 cups dehydrated shredded apples
- 2 cups dehydrated shredded potatoes
- 1/2 cup dehydrated chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon dehydrated parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dehydrated thyme
- 2 cups shredded cheese of your choice
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup water
- 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine the dehydrated apples, potatoes, onions, and herbs, cheese, and butter in a 10-inch square baking dish. Pour the broth and water over the mixture and sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the top. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake until browned on top, about another 15minutes.
