  • 1.5 cups dried fruit, finely chopped (apricots, dates, figs, raisins or pineapple)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar, optional
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of grated lemon peel
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts,

  1. Add dried fruit, orange juice and sugar to a medium saucepan.
  2. Cook on low heat with frequent stirring for 20 to 25 minutes, or until thickened.
  3. Stir in lemon juice, lemon peel and chopped nuts. Let cool.
