- 1 cup dried corn
- 4 cups of boiling water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- Combine dried corn with boiling water. Let stand for at least 20 minutes.
- Place the corn on medium heat and let simmer for about 1 hour, or until tender. Drain.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Return to heat, bring to a simmer and let heat through with constant stirring.
