- 2 & 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 1 & 1/2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 cup dehydrated sliced okra
- 1/2 cup dehydrated sliced onions
- 1/4 cup dehydrated green bell pepper strips
- 1 tablespoon dehydrated chopped celery
- 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Pinch of crumbled dehydrated red chile pepper
- 2 dehydrated garlic slices, crushed
- 1 dehydrated bay leaf
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups water
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt
- Place all the ingredients except the salt in a 6-quart slow cooker, stir to combine, and cover. Cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours.
- Add salt to taste prior to serving.
