Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and raw sausage together, then place a heaping spoonful in the center of each mushroom cap. Set the stuffed caps on top of a broiler pan, add 1/4 inch water to the bottom of the pan, and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 40 minutes.
  3. Uncover the pan and bake until the sausage is completely cooked through and the mushrooms are tender, another 10 minutes.
